Demand to USPTO
It is not that hard to argue at the Court of
the Law that Hydrological issues
should be examined by Hydrologists.
My demand to USPTO is the same as the first
letter sent on Oct. 2006:
1. Hire
Examiners with background in Hydrogeology and/or Soil Physics so that they have
full comprehension of fluids moving on porosity;
2. Cancel
issued patents with scientific flaws. Obsolete patents are cancelled naturally by
becoming outdated;
3. Make a
public statement about Hydrology negligence hurting all Hydrological community
as well as my project that needs experts in Hydrology to protect the content of
my issued claims.
4. Compensate
for my losses since as an inventor filing patents I was not expecting lay
people handling hydrology in the examination process by USPTO.
5. Since USPTO
is failing to protect my IP rights my patents should be eligible for time
extension of their expiration dates (new demand).
6. Issue a
bill requiring Hydrology be handled by Hydrologists preventing laypeople from
harming standing common knowledge in the scientific literature (new demand).
7. Disclose the technical and
educational background of the Patent Examiners showing their expertise
boundaries for judgment (new demand).
8. Make people
accountable for breaking THE LAW regarding my
complaints (old demand).

USPTO Conspiracy on REINVENTION
Dear Mr. Trump.
Bill Clinton delivered his first speech for
reelection at my PhD commencement on May 10, 1996 at the Penn State University.
Nevertheless, I believe that you could do much more than his wife Hillary
Clinton, making America great again for the birth of a NEW SCIENCE associated
to a breakthrough I bumped during my high education in the US.
I
happen to be just a Brazilian farm boy dreaming for science and pursuing a
higher education in the US as I got PhD in Soil Science. By chance, the
President of the US attended my graduation saying in his speech that we were
privileged citizens for receiving the highest education that America could provide
to their citizens. He said also that many of us would be developing new
technologies down the line never imagined before. My challenge was just to
probe how far I could get through cracking down subtle boundaries we face on
crossroads.
Mixed
with my belongings when I went back home there was a special cord becoming the
keystone of a scientific discovery robust enough to create a new science. I
called it HYDROTECHNOLOGY – the science of Hydrogeology on artificial porosity
so critical to fluidic devices as well as mass flow dynamics upgrading molecular
connectivity on water and energy cycle principles. I started employing this
cord for self-watering on my wife’s potted African Violets realizing that plastic
cords fail as wicks and it could be an advanced porosity interface to connect Saturated
and Unsaturated Hydraulic Zones with modelling of pores geometry having higher anisotropic
flow on longitudinal direction by supplying/draining fluid reversibly on demand
in response to a hydraulic gradient. Molecular connectivity on mass flow
dynamics may hinder advanced properties not yet addressed by the scientific
community as the exploratory analysis provides clear footprints of such absent
insights.
It did not require deep acumen to notice that the American culture was degrading more and more. Bill Clinton had an affair known as the Lewinsky scandal in the White House office. Lewinsky stated that between November 1995 and March 1997, she had nine sexual encounters with then-President Bill Clinton that, according to her testimony, involved fellatio and other sexual acts in the Oval Office. In addition, my institution where I got my PhD was hosting a serial child molester Jerry Sandusky arrested and charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse of young boys over a 15-year period from 1994 to 2009. Sandusky served as an assistant coach mostly at Pennsylvania State University under Joe Paterno. According to details in the report, Spanier, Paterno, Curley, and Schultz never restricted Sandusky's access to Penn State facilities.
The American situation is persistently degrading by economic meltdown, obesity, and now intellectual property affairs as USPTO is running a sort of conspiracy on reinvention in association with huge corporations, top institutions, and Law firms. My issued patents pursuing a scientific breakthrough are not only being violated, they have been reinvented also many times even by flawed patents from lay people that have no background to understand and handle an old and classic science called HYDROLOGY so plenty on libraries.
Mr. Trump, it is difficult to put it in simple words explaining this bizarre situation in a country you are becoming the new leader. It is like losing a competition to a party that is not even supposed to compete or be judged by people that have no idea what they are judging. They are so deprived on their misdeeds that it becomes useless explaining to them because they have no intellectual resources for such comprehension.
I indeed hope that you are able to make America great again pursuing the balance of human existence.
Just imagine a scientist from Cornell University Dr. Abraham Duncan Stroock that got his PhD at Harvard asking me to read his scientific publications because he could not understand the language of his issued patent violating mine. I told him that if he could not understand it, even less the Lawyer who wrote it, and the Patent Examiner who issued it. Therefore, I posted around 120 thousand emails of all Cornell University at my blog demanding them respect to science and the Law.
‘... If you have a point to make about my treatment of hydrological concepts, I ask that you take the time to explain your specific points of disagreement. I note that my work is better represented in my publications (available at http://www.stroockgroup.org/home/publications) than in patents, as the lawyers have been translated the latter into legalese that I do not understand.’
This is funny! I recall seeing no single Law student attending the discipline of Hydrogeology with Prof. Richard Parizek in a class of 120 students in the fall of 1992 at the Penn State University. I just imagine Albert Einstein or Antoine Lavoisier unable to read their patents about their scientific achievement if they had written any. That is so awkward. They are so naïve! What is the technical background of the Patent Examiners? Why multiple patent filings if it is impossible to invent the same thing more than once? If we can unlock nature secrets, grabbing the underlying functioning of a deceitful patent system is not that so challenging . . . Dishonest Lawyers can step over the boundaries, but Nature demands simple honesty. This is not a winning or losing situation as Nature rewards only those ones loyal to the principles.
The
situation in the patenting system is degrading so shamefully more and more that
it is hard to find words to describe it. I posted a blog that a flawed patent
was even citing mine patent when I provided Hydrological background helping lay
people to have a better comprehension on hydrological issues. You can be sure
that this skewed performance is affecting most of the top institutions in the
US as they have not realized yet the power of honesty on America endeavors.
What
is the point of ignoring common knowledge and issued patents? Why?
This is not a surprise from a country that the
President was doing sex in his office and the University President I got my PhD
let young disadvantaged boys be raped in the locker rooms. Raping of science and
the Law in the Patent Office is just a follow-up in a growing mess that you
might face taking care of it down the line in order to make America greater
again!
Mr.
Trump, my scientific breakthrough (US
Pat. 6,766,817) cancels around 50 thousand issued patents and open room for
another 200 thousand patents if the Patent Office were respecting common
knowledge on the scientific literature and issued patents. There is a huge gap
associated to the application of Hydrogeology to fluidic devices as well as an
ongoing conspiracy on reinvention perpetrated by US Government in collusion
with wealthy parties raping science shamefully in the core. For sure, you can
play offense and defense to keep the weaponry industry profitable pretending
National Security scapegoat. However, when this naïve game destroy a country
like Syria, as a reward for the misdeeds, the survivors become your neighbors
bearing all the aggravations in their hearts. Despoiling science is like
cursing your mother that gave you the principles of your own existence. I meant
Mother Nature in case you have enough brain to read in between the lines.

Henry Darcy proposed Darcy’s Law in 1856 about
Hydraulic Conductivity and afterwards in 1907 Edgard Buckingham proposed a
change in the equation to Unsaturated Hydraulic Flow (Soil Physics, Jury et
al., 1991, John Wiley). It has been observed that many inventors employing the
terminology ‘wick/wicking’ neither understand the functioning of oil lamps nor
Hydrogeology, concerning the functioning of Hydraulic Zones. They come up with
scientific flaws as wicks only have negative hydraulic flow (unsaturated). Wick
is a porous flexible structure that moves fuel to the flame by Unsaturated
Hydraulic Flow and it needs to resist to high temperatures. It is a basic
Etymological mistake to call anything as a wick that fails as a wick on oil
lamps. Also, wicks could not be used as a draining porosity as it never worked
in the bottom of oil lamps draining fluids by Saturated Flow. The hydrological
functioning is so different as the fuel rises upward through wick porosity to
the flame by Unsaturated Flow leaving the system as gases after combustion. In
the self-watering flowerpots water leaves continuously the soil-water-plant
system by evapotranspiration. In the African Violets prototypes, the loss rate
is about 1 ml/h, and the maximum gauged transmittance upward in the porosity
interface was 2.18 mm/s.
As a scientist, by observing this sort of malfunctioning of society, I developed this insight that corruption bears dynamic principles like pregnancy as it grows and grows until the due date. Corruption keeps increasing and expanding until it reaches a threshold getting the bearing limits like is happening nowadays in Brazil. Safety on nightclubs like Boate Kiss was ignored making it one day a nightmare trap dungeon that decimated in few minutes 242 mostly college students. Safety on contention dam holding mining rejection was neglected by Samarco unleashing a slurry that is never mud, deeply frightening thousands of Brazilians striving in the Doce River basin, jeopardizing their blessed natural resource. Soil Genesis says that mud take millions of years weathering from rocks. That slurry is a thing that we do not understand yet. Public mismanagement is spread around the world showing that our democracy is tainted, and most of our politicians are as corrupt as US government officials. Tainted meat backfires faster than a flawed patenting system. Brazil exports around 14b dollars by the meat industry that demands commitment to the safety standards so customers know what they are eating. The sooner you take care of the shameful violation of science on intellectual property affairs the easier to handle the outcome afterwards, since science is the functioning of nature and cannot be deceived for our own sake.
My breakthrough reveals a huge gap for a new science that will take off now on my lifetime or whenever this human affair issue is emended. So, if you intend to make the US a great country again you may consider getting rid of those rotting apples in your basket.

with a lousy patent (9,525,177
Electrical power storage devices). Erica

Clark LLP is the Patent Lawyer prosecuting this shameful collusion with
USPTO. She got B.A. in Computer
Science and B.S. in Political
Science, showing no expertise whatsoever in this issue called Hydrology
she is messing with.
This is not supposed
to happen in a developed country. I took 22 years studying to reach PhD in Soil
Science degree bearing four diplomas in Agricultural Sciences. I had a sort of
scientific breakthrough carrying out more than 3,000 trials to grab new
conceptions of Hydrodynamics in a 20 years challenging project. Now, lay people
that never peeked at a Hydrology textbook in their entire life are carelessly
desecrating my IP rights. Well, as a scientist I must say that I know my own
species behavior and this is not such a big surprise at all, on a broad range
of comprehension I nurture on human affairs. I was expecting that my scientific
curiosity would reward my income developing my project. This conspiracy was not
planned because they do not have enough brain resources to contrive it, as it
is just a reckless management of human affairs.
Tainted meat on the table stinks faster than rotting apples in
your basket! Oh my goodness!
The reasoning says
that we are the prevailing species over the landscape just because we ate and
annihilated the competition during our evolution. Probably we did not originate
from monkeys, because they were surviving cousins capable of fleeing humans,
hiding in the top of trees, while we were on the ground enhancing hunting
weapons. The leading country in the world with nukes misses power to care for their
bellies, to honor plenty of knowledge on their libraries, or even less to abide
to their own standing LAWS and doubtful moral grounds. Perhaps, this is the
core recipe of the American exceptionalism backfiring.
Honesty is
the unique key salvation to human existence!
As
a farm boy, I see no difference passing away famous and wealthy or just poor
and unknown in the end of my life cycle that I have no hurry to get through. My
luggage to afterlife is the same standard as any wayfarer. Also, I promise no
complaining back about the crowd size of my coming funeral. The truth is that
reality is too cruel to gain warm reception for those ones daring to be honest!

Keep in mind that I have a Hydrology project
that I would love to carry on during my lifetime in case you are nuts to make
America great again. These shameful violations proves that I created something
tenable for society, but human affairs are desperately missing honesty on
academic, government, and corporation issues. A new science is being born from
a technical and scientific gap, as well as lack of moral support and fairness

1. As a scientist, I am aware that curiosity drives human affairs, but honesty indeed
is the main component to keep it in the right track. What can I know and how do
I know that I know it? (Epistemology) What really exist in the universe?
(Metaphysics) What is the best way to set up my mind to make it as clear as
possible? (Logics).
USPTO assigns lay examiners to judge issues they have no understanding. Arlen Soderquist a Patent Examiner claiming to be a Chemist scientist from Utah is confident that he can examine Hydrology even having no background about this old classical science. I am curious on how much Hydrology the Department of Chemistry of University of Utah provides to their students. This is the way Dr. Soderquist sees Hydrology; very funny and so different from the scientific literature and basic textbooks of Hydrology so plenty on libraries. He does not know that gravity exists affecting the Hydraulic Gradient Potential. The Saturated Zone is the bottom (fluid fuel) and the Unsaturated Zone is on the top as the fluid moves upward to the flame (wick). My deceased father a coffee farmer with two years of schooling knew about it as we used many oil lamps. He knew that the flame was on the top and the fuel deposit was in the bottom, and that the fuel would move upward as we had to refill it once in a while!
On Sep. 16, 2007 I sent a letter to Ecolab, Inc. advising them that their patent application 20070212281 (Sep. 13, 2007) was violating mine US 6,766,817 (Jul. 25, 2001), and that it had a scientific flaw failing to deliver fluid. I got no answer, but I also sent a letter to USPTO notifying about this blatant flaw and violations. In the Fig. 1 water only drips if the porous device crosses the water table reference downward from the Unsaturated to the Saturated Hydraulic Zone. I got a reply from a USPTO Lawyer saying that there was a provision Law allowing the size of the drawings be different from the real final products. I replied saying that my technical schooling at High School taught that parallel lines never meet each other at any scale employed. My initial assumption was that the background of USPTO patent examiners could be lower than High School standards. My surprise was that this patent application was issued afterwards on Oct. 23, 2007 (US 7,285,255). So, to make it appalling, it was filed again on Jan. 24, 2008 (US 20080019865) and issued again on Mar. 2, 2010 (US 7,670,551).
Why would somebody want to file patents claiming an invention that is flawed, fails, and was already precisely invented grounded by advanced scientific background?
I was expecting that the academic environment would be different as
faculties usually are PhD and highly committed to honor, respect, ethics, always
complying with the Law. Universities have libraries and access to common
knowledge preached on text books and classrooms. But, Dr. Amir Faghri
and Dr. Zhen Guo working at the former Fuel Cell Center at
the University of Connecticut believed that
Hydrology from their Library could be ignored as well as my patent rights at
USPTO when issuing US
7,625,649 ‘Vapor feed fuel cells with a passive thermal-fluids management
system’. It was sent many letters requesting IDS of US
6,766,817 to many faculties and IP management team at Univ. of Connecticut . Nobody there felt any urge to respect
neither Classical Hydrology nor the Law on already issued patents on the
subject. Looking at the drawings it looks like it was a straight lousy
copycat by a PhD faculty showing arrogance and how stupid he can be by
ignoring a ‘scientific breakthrough’. I have no idea why faculties want
to work with fluid ignoring an old and classic science Hydrology. Dr. Zhen Guo
got his PhD at Florida International University
in Mechanical Engineering working with fuel cells filing a patent (20060046123)
with his advisor Dr. Yiding
Cao showing that they had no idea about fluid dynamics between Hydraulic
Zones. At least they abandoned such flawed patent application
Why would any scientist work with microfluid
Ignoring Hydrology textbooks? Dr. Vera
Gorfinkel never studied Hydrology in her full life and had
no single Hydrology reference to show that she did her homework on background
requirements. Education:
Ph.D. in Physics & Mathematics from A.F.Ioffe Physical-Technical
Institute St. Petersburg, Russia, 1980, M.S. (with honors) in Semiconductor
Physics, Saratov State University, Russia, 1973. (8,231,844) Method
and device for manipulating liquids in microfluidic systems. Dr. Gorfinkel
invented Tubarc again neither knowing Hydrology with any citation nor US
6,766,817.
Carnegie Mellon University ignores Advanced Hydrology, the Law, Ethics, and Honesty. Complex Engineering on hydrodynamics is confused on geometries between squares and circles! ‘Dr. Fedder, PhD, is proposing a squared geometry in order to control fluid dynamics employing ‘Capillary Action’, which comes from the cylindrical structure conception – capillary’. How much brain power is required to realize that ‘capillary action’ is a cylindrical geometric conception to capture unsaturated hydraulic flow when the solid surface of porosity pulls fluids upward against gravity having a suction or negative hydraulic flow? Frankly speaking can any capillary be squared? It seems that Nature opted for rounded geometries since the beginning making the sun, earth, cells, veins, trunks, etc, all rounded and rounded. Dr. Fedder empty skull is also rounded!
Now Carnegie Mellow is just raping science and shamefully cheating on Academic Affairs in collusion with USPTO shameful reinvention policy. Dr. Gary K. Fedder the Director of the Institute for Complex Engineered Systems (ICES) got B.S. and M.S. from MIT in 1982 and 1984, obtaining in 1994 PhD at the University of California at Berkeley. I had to carry out more than 3,000 experiments till 2001 when I was ready to file my American patent which was then published in 2003, and issued on 2004. Dr. Fedder filed his lazy patent in 2006 and requested Nonpublication option to keep it a secret till 2013 (8,501,117) waiting 7 years expecting my project to vanish.
University of California, Princeton University, and many others are trying to address fluidic devices by ignoring Hydrology Science as well as issued patents like US 6,766,817.
My recent conclusion is that lay people behind wick/wicking neither understand HYDROLOGY nor the functioning of oil lamps!
USPTO Conspiracy VI
To be honest I have no idea why this flawed patent (US 9,308,490) is citing mine (US pat 6,766,817) since I provided the core Hydrological background for lay people to improve their comprehension on this issue of hydrodynamics regarding fluid movement on porosity systems. It seems that lay people behind wick/wicking neither understand Hydrology nor the functioning of oil lamps. Wicks connect the fuel in the liquid compartment to the flame on the top moving the fluid upward as Unsaturated Hydraulic Flow. Wicks can never be set in the bottom of an oil lamp for drainage as it becomes Saturate Flow. I am curious if my issued patent was read by any of them, inventors, patent attorneys, and examiners; or even if any of them has any hydrological background.
US pat 6,766,817 (BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION - 3rd paragraph) - A fluid that possesses a positive pressure can be generally defined in the field of hydrology as saturated fluid. Likewise, a fluid that has a negative pressure (i.e., or suction) can be generally defined as an unsaturated fluid. Fluid matric potential can be negative or positive. For example, water standing freely at an open lake, can be said to stand under a gravity pull. The top surface of the liquid of such water accounts for zero pressure known as the water table or hydraulic head. Below the water table, the water matric potential (pressure) is generally positive because the weight of the water increases according to parameters of force per unit of area. When water rises through a capillary tube or any other porosity, the water matric potential (e.g., conventionally negative pressure or suction) is negative because the solid phase attracts the water upward relieving part of its gravitational pull to the bearing weight. The suction power comes from the amount of attraction in the solid phase per unit of volume in the porosity.
What is the point of ignoring common knowledge and issued patents?
It does not make sense unless they are aliens from another dimension bearing a different Logical system in their minds different from commonplace on earth! They cannot be stupid because they must have had some educational background that missed principles of simple honesty and fairness.
